Default How can i tell if I have a Dedicated or VPS
Hello everybody,

recently i signed up a 3month contract with a hosting company that has been mentioned before in this forum. I have rent a dedicated server P4 2,4 with 512 RAM.

I moved to this server 4 sites that used to have on VPS.

The sites are giapraki.com , alexandroupoli.net , r40.gr and galfas.gr

The first two sites are made with e107 CMS and have approx. 500 unique visitors per day, the third one has about 400 unique per day and the forth is just a plain static html.

My dedicated server now has reached 70-80% of its memmory usage (which seems normal) but the cpu load is 8-16 !!! which is in red area and the server crashes!

I really wonder if there's been something wrong or is this normal ? Do you believe that there is a chance that i am in a VPS instead of a dedicated ? How can i tell if i am in a VPS or dedicated ?
