I thought this forum would be the place where I would find a LIST of recommended uk web hosting providers, based on the invaluable direct experience of the thousands of forum members.
But I just couldn't find such a thing! Why ? Is it me who couldn't find it ?
I understand very well that there is no such thing as THE BEST hosting provider, that it depends on one's needs, etc. However, there's got to be a way to consolidate the incredible wealth of information captured in this forum, into some form of list.
There is growing consensus among marketing professionals that the single most significant customer satisfaction question one can ask is: "Would you recommend this [service/company/product] to a friend ?".
May I suggest that this forum could simply run a permanent survey, where members would say which hosting provider they would recommend to a friend. Any member in need, like myself, could then select the Top 10, Top 25, or whatever, and then do his/her own research, including searches through the very forum.
What do you guys think ?
